Realizing the importance of the job-oriented courses for
women Patna Women's College established the Department
of Computer Applications in
1995. The course was initially funded by UGC under Patna
University.The formal inauguration was done by his Excellency
Mr. A.R. Kidwai, the then Governor of Bihar.
